I've been clued up with Glossier since Emilys' blog was a thing. See my love for this brand has been strong for close to a decade and when I think of my younger self I wish such a brand had existed, to help me navigate the beauty world.
Glossier is for the 'clean girls', the girls who want something light on their face, not too much but just enough to cover up the blemishes. It's my go to for recommending to younger girls especially those who are at school in the experimental phase. But also if you are a corporate girlie who wants a fresh face in the morning and a sweet simple scent to go along with it then i recommend these Glossier staples.
Starting of with the base- I use the perfecting skin tint and stretch concealer for a cover up thats not too heavy. Glossier has a great shade range for the dark skin girlies and I recommend going a shade lighter in concealer to highlight. For blush a little goes a long way, cloud paint brightens up my skin and i go for the shades Haze - a purple- and the shade Spark - a orange.
The star of the show in my eyes is the Balm dotcom lip salve. I'm obsessed its the latest addition to my Glossier routine and honestly i dont know what took so long. I have the Strawberry one which has a pink shade - though not visible on darker lips- its moisturising and smells yummy.
Now for scent, i've recently purchased the Glossier You perfume as a daily scent. Its musky, woody and has a vanilla base. Its a bit on the mature side of things but its great for anyone above 14 really. I'm enjoying spritzing it every morning for work. I think you can get similar ones from Zara for less £ but it makes for a perfect gift.
Have you tried Glossier? Whats your go to product?

I remember Emily's blog too, seems like another lifetime, so much has changed. The Dot Balm looks great I just got their Future Dew face primer and I LOVE it!
